Rocky Horror Picture Show (stage show) dress up ideas

DH and I are going to see a RHPS stage show .
And dress up (it is "encouraged" )
I will never see the other people in the audience again, so What The Heck. Go for it .

Any ideas ?

BTW , I'm not embracing Columbia , I'm more a Magenta .

Well... when I was a student it was tight shorts, mad tights, tap shoes, tails and a bowler hat. Bow tie if I could lay my hands on one. Never went in for the basque and suspenders (I left that to the boys).

I have some really bondage style lace up knee length boots (that I might have a tiny hope in hell of walking in ) and I can get some fishnets .

Shorts better than a short skirt?

When I went I wore a black basque. The puffy bit from a skirt, red fishnet stockings and red ankle boots.

I have seen it twice.

The first time, I was 14, self conscious and fat. I back combed my hair and wore a black crushed velvet mini skirt, fishnets, black tee shirt, dms, Black overcoat.

The second time, I was 30, not self conscious and fat. I wore a blue pvc basque, stockings, suspenders, a tutu and a tiara. Oh and dms, don't do heels!

Last time I wore: whale net tights, black sequin shorts, white lab coat, feather boa.

Teamed with a mini hat, big sunglasses and Frank style eyeshadow.

I am going tomorrow night! So excited 😆 I am wearing tight black shorts, fishnets, big heels, tight black vest with a red sequinned tailcoat, red sequinned bow tie and a top hat. I am being a random Transylvanian. My sister is going as Janet (pink 50’s dress, white cardy, blonde wig), one friend has an awesome usherette outfit, another is going as Eddie...I am shivering with anticip...action!!

Ohh , I could get DH to go as Eddie (he was going to plan a Tuxedo/Tie style outfit like the Time Warpers )
