i really want to see the second part of IT, but none of my friends have watched the first part, and my boyfriend doesn’t like horror films. i told one of my friends that i was thinking of going to watch it alone and she said that it’s ‘sad’ and only ‘losers’ go the pictures alone. i don’t get why though? it’s not like you sit chatting away anyway, you generally don’t talk whilst watching a film, so why does it matter if there’s someone sitting beside you or not? i’m still going to go but i was just wondering whether anyone else goes to the pictures alone?

I often do the cinema on my own, and I am no sad loser at all

I'm going to see The Goldfinch on my own next week. I can't wait!

I can't imagine how they could squash that tome into one movie Swishy. Plus I'm worried they're not going to get the beloved Hobie right. Or Boris. I know what I've got in my head and I don't want it disturbed!

I love going to the cinema on my own. Even better when I get the cinema to myself.
People have said it’s weird but I honestly couldn’t care less
