Can anyone help identify a song with some vague details and quite possibly misheard lyrics?

So, at my swimming pool there's constant background music being played on a long loop. I've heard this one song quite a few times and it's really stuck in my head. I can't make out the lyrics well enough to get google to help me.

This is what I have:
Female vocalist
Guitar bit at one point
Chorus that goes something like this
" I am blind"
Something something that I can't make out
"Will you miss me
When I'm gone?"

At another point in the song she sings "It's our responsibility" (or maybe "my responsibility" or "your responsibility")

I think it's a fairly recent song, others on the background music soundtrack are.

If this rings any bells with anyone, I'd love to know the actual song. Thank you!

I'm always asking the hairdresser/shop assistant to find out the name of the song playing.....!

Ah, not Culture Club, but thanks for the suggestion.

I did ask staff but apparently the music is 'piped through' from head office so there's no track list they could show me.

And I've been either swimming or in the shower when the songs been on, so not able to Shazam it. I've tried singing it to Shazam myself but my dulcet tones haven't led to any results.

Not the Anna Kendrick song (but also thanks) It's slower and sadder than that.

Is it fast or slow tempo?
Any particular genre is it more rock or pop or was it an acoustic sounding guitar bit?
Does the singer have an accent or sound similar to someone?
