Tesco own brand Fruit and Fibre - have you seen any?

This is not going to rank as the most exciting thread I've ever started, but has anyone noted a lack of Fruit and Fibre at Tesco? Kellogg's are on the shelf but no own brand seen for weeks.

How will this help their regular customers? Smile

Tesco are terrible for this; they done the same with the own brand Honey Nut Clusters with chocolate. I swear they wait until I start enjoying things and then go "Ahh, cancel the own brand so she needs to buy the expensive ones instead!".

They also done this with their High Juice; it used to be £2.50 for 2 bottles, and then became £2 each. So, I started buying the 2l bottles of Robinsons squash which was on sale at £1.50 each - now upped them to £3 each within a fortnight. Now I buy the own brand squash. Wont be long until I need to change to something else I'm sure...

Off topic but have you tried the ALDI version? I 'treated myself' once to some Kelloggs and I was shocked and how little fruit was in it compared to the ALDI one. So much nicer.

Our Tesco hasn’t had own brand fruit and fibre for weeks and the cereal of theirs I was buying instead has now gone off the shelf! Very frustrating!

Gentlemanwiththistledownhair · 17/09/2019 17:45

Nope! We keep looking for it too! None to be found. Hope it's just a temporary supply issue, Kellogg's is rubbish in comparison. Can vouch for Lidl's version though: loads of fruit

labazsisgoingmad · 17/09/2019 18:01

sent dp to tesco for some apricot or blueberry filled wheat cereal. he kept saying none there thought he had not seen it but when i checked he was right. its taken a month and now they have blueberry but dont know how long for

ishouldhavestucktocats · 17/09/2019 18:02

Yes, I think the Aldi version is the bees knees.. Particularly with a good dollop of their coconut yoghurt on top.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 17/09/2019 18:04

Yes. And own brand Cheerios are out of stock in most shops too. Managed to grab a box today in Morrisons.

Ingurr · 17/09/2019 18:07

M&S own brand Fruit & Fibre has disappeared from the shelves too. It was about £1.20 for 500g.

dancerdog · 17/09/2019 18:43

Definitely, just checked again yesterday. Loads of Kellogg's fruit & fibre, no Tesco's. I thought it was just me!

The swine have discontinued their amazing chocolate tea as well! :( :(

UnitedRoad · 17/09/2019 18:52

Not cereal related, but I really wanted a mars bar last week and there weren’t any I threw different supermarkets. I originally wanted a four pack, but couldn’t even find fun size. Ended up buying Morrison’s own brand, which were ok, but not great. Is there a national shortage?

which1 · 17/09/2019 19:20

What is this about chocolate tea???

spiderlight · 17/09/2019 20:34

@which1 - it was this and it was gorgeous. I can only have one cup of proper non-decaf tea a day or I get horrendous migraines, so this was my after-dinner treat every evening and now it's gone....gone for ever wail I tweeted Tesco about it and everything, but they didn't care.

Ooh that's a shame I remember it was good

DadDadDad · 25/09/2019 08:50

Now there's no Kellogg's F & F either. Have people been stockpiling? Is there a MNetter with 500 packets in some secret lockup? Shock

Shelves still devoid of any brand of F&F! I'm beginning to worry - there could be Fruit and Fibre famine in our house soon.... Sad

Maybe I need to check out the other supermarkets.

The news that MN has been waiting for! Own brand Fruit and Fibre back on the shelves in Tesco!
