I do not post on Facebook but occasionally receive messages from relatives. We see BiL and his wife two or three times a year, we are not really on the same wavelength.. My SiL has always sent crappy stuff out about friendship, and the wonderfulness of being a granny, which I ignore. These seem to be sent to her her group of contacts. Now she is sending out quite racist stuff so I have blocked her. I don’t want to cause a family row.

She won't be notified that you've blocked her but if she notices that other family members can see you but she can't she'll work it out that way.

Can you do the 30 day "snooze" and repeat every month?

Thanks you for that. She is not connected to any of my contacts and she never posts anything that needs a reply.
