Baby names!

I wanted to keep her name quiet knowing that people would share their unwanted opinions and ruin it for me.

We loved the name Pippa for almost 2 month, he has let it slip to inlaws and his aunties partner (who is a very ignorant rude sort) said 'urgh what like kippa'
He let slip to his mother who didnt think he was serious as said 'Pippa I will flatten ya'

It's made me feel funny about the name and fall out of love with it. And I had a bedroom sign done with Pippa on.
I do love the name Kelsie also. But my partner loves the name Pippa and doesn't want me to change it. But I feel like people have ruined it for me and now I'm not liking the sound of it. Even way partner says Pippa now.

Am I being silly, I know everyone says I will change my mind when shes born, or decide when shes born. But why is it stressing me out so much. And peoples reactions really upset me.

Just call her Pippa (a beautiful classy name and not many around). Stuff what other think, you and your partner like it.

People are so enamoured with the baby when she's here they will forget about being rude about the name. Fast forward 10 years, do you think they would still be being rude about it then? Nope.

My friend recently named her LO Pippa and its lovely! She's had nothing but compliments. I prefer it to Kelsie but yours and DHs opinions are all that really matter anyway! Stick with Pippa.

Thank you everyone I'm glad I posted on here, I defo prefer Pippa dont think Phillipa. I'd never reveal a name again, tbh it was my partner that slipped up tho I could if killed him haha
