A challenge for the Mumsnet Mavens, who know where to find anything!

I'm looking for a particular style of bookcase, similar to the one in the photo.

It needs to have deeper, taller shelves at the bottom, with the shelves getting shallower as they go up.

Maximum 30cm deep at the base. Maximum width approx 100cm.

It needs to have solid sides. A back would be nice, but is not essential.

It does not need to be the same colour as the photo or to match it in any decorative way.

So far I have looked online in Ikea, Argos, Next, John Lewis, M&S. Plenty of open ladder shelves and boxy units, but nothing remotely like the photo.

Any ideas?

That's an IKEA shelving unit painted black. I have the same wood one in my home.

I can't remember the name of it but there was an entire range including baby change units too. I'll see if I can find it.

We got some fitting tha5 description that were shop fittings

That’s an old leksvik from Ikea. Don’t think they do it now.

I'm sure it was the hemnes range but they've changed it all now. There may be some old style shape ones kicking about second hand on eBay/Facebook marketplace.

Ahh yes, @CatalogueUniverse I think you're right.

Habitat used to do a set called Atlas, and you could get different widths or put them together. Looks like they don't do it now but some keep coming up on Gumtree etc

It’s definitely the old leksvik range. If you search eBay or gumtree you should be able to find them.

oh they are 39cm deep at the bottom, which might be too much for you, 17cm at the top I think
