We want to go away for a week in May but would like it to be somewhere warm. We were in Portugal years ago around the same time and it was a bit cool. Our criteria is: nice warm weather, good accommodation, near some nightlife and sightseeing opportunities. Possibly Italy? We've been to the Canaries many times so don't want that.
