This might be long explanation. I will out line the key dates.
Had my period on the 8th Aug 2019
Had sex on the 16th, 18th and 19th Aug
I was due to ovulate on the 20th Aug
Had fresh blood and brown spotting on the 20th Aug. i thought this was ovulation pain because i had severe pain on the left hand side and needed pee. i never had ovulating pain before so this was the first time. my friend told me to a Pregnancy test and it turned out be positive.
In July we had sex on the 21, 26 27 and 28 July only but i was ovulating according to my calendar on the 25th July,
I went for an early pregnancy scan today (13/09/19) the embroy sac measured 4.1mm meaning i am 4-5 weeks pregnant. Does this mean i have had mis misscariage at 5 weeks on the 20th Aug and the embryo hasnt been expelled out yet? or did i conceive in the Aug (some how ovulated earlier but can you get a positive pregnancy test within 5 days on conception (from all my research it is unlikely). My blood and urine tests says im pregnant and i been booked into a scan in 2 weeks to see if the embryo will grow. the dates are all very confusing.
I am so confused at the moment, and i want to keep my expecation low because if it is a non viable pregnancy i want to be prepared for it but the 2 week wait is a long wait to find out if it is.
Any help or advice if something similar happened to anyone else.
