Help - dating scan worry

Clb1509 · 13/09/2019 11:35

Hi all, hoping someone can help.

Just been for my dating scan which was very inconclusive! a GS was found and a YS but my letter says embryo inconclusive.

I had my implant removed on 9th July and had positive test on 6th August (plus many since)

I thought I was about 9 weeks...But with nothing on the scan I am really worried!!!

Anyone else had this?

I'm sorry to hear that @ceebee21 ❤️💔 I found a heat wrap / hot water bottle really helped with the cramps and regular painkillers. I found I wanted to be near the bathroom, do whatever makes you comfortable. I'm sorry this is happening, sending love xxx

Also, just to say I knew I'd miscarried on the Sunday but still went to the epu on the Friday as I wanted them to check it was complete and there was nothing left over. It helped to give me some reassurance xx

ceebee21 · 25/09/2019 18:53

Thanks for your message.. seems ok atm but preparing for it to ramp up!!!

I think I will keep my appt for Friday like you...depending on when I have stopped bleeding.

How long did yours take if you don't mind me asking zxx

I started bleeding on the Saturday but the cramps / miscarriage happened on the Sunday morning, I woke quite early and was quite restlessbut by around 11am the worst was over. I still bled heavily for a few days after and passed some clots but the worst of it was the Sunday morning and passed over a few hours. Hope that wasn't too detailed and it helped xxx

ceebee21 · 26/09/2019 09:25

So strange - had bleeding yesterday around 5:30pm... then nothing.

Some light cramping but nothing else...my body is just playing tricks on me :(

xx

Damntheman · 26/09/2019 11:31

Handhold for you ceebee. Being stuck in limbo must be awful.

VenusStarr · 26/09/2019 12:35

I'm sorry to hear that @ceebee21 ❤️ how are you feeling? Xx

VenusStarr · 27/09/2019 22:24

How did you get on today @ceebee21? Hope you're OK xx

ceebee21 · 29/09/2019 23:30

@VenusStarr it was ok, they just confirmed the MMC and gave me my options.. Can't have an erpc until 8th October!!

Bleeding and cramps much heavier today...I'm not really sure what to expect with what I'm passing though.. have had a few small clots but nothing major! Xx

VenusStarr · 30/09/2019 07:30

I'm sorry it's been confirmed now but that you're still in limbo 💜

With mine the cramping was quite intense and almost contracting type pains and I passed bigger clots. The first time I felt the sac go but didn't see anything but the second time I did see it. For me once I'd passed the sac the cramping eased off in terms of contraction like pains but still had cramping but they felt more period like.

I hope you get some closure soon xx

ceebee21 · 30/09/2019 07:59

@VenusStarr it's strange they were pretty intense yesterday, but they were only small clots in my opinion...cramps have eased off now but still bleeding..I'm just nor sure what is going on lol xx

VenusStarr · 30/09/2019 18:58

Are you off work @ceebee21? I found I didn't want to leave the house while I was in limbo. I hope you're OK today xx

ceebee21 · 30/09/2019 19:43

Yes off work, as you say much better to be at home. I've been booked in for erpc privately tomorrow, need to go in for a scan in the morning to check what's there xx

VenusStarr · 30/09/2019 22:16

Oh I'm glad you've got an erpc booked, waiting for another week is so hard. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow ❤️ Xx

ceebee21 · 02/10/2019 10:01

@VenusStarr thank you, had it yesterday and all went well.

Back at home now and glad it's over...waiting for AF and will then try again. At least then I can date from that!

Fingers crossed for a BFP in the not too distant future xx

VenusStarr · 02/10/2019 12:00

Glad you're home and it's done. Hope you get lots of rest Flowers hope we both get our babies soon xx

ceebee21 · 02/10/2019 17:55

Are you trying again @VenusStarr xx

VenusStarr · 02/10/2019 18:11

We hope to. I have a troublesome fibroid that my fertility consultant wants to get out so we're not ttc yet. I've been for a pre-op today so hoping that will be done soon 🤞

We caught within 3 months of my last miscarriage (after struggling with infertility before that).

Do you think you'll start ttc straight away? Xx

VenusStarr · 02/10/2019 18:11

Sorry @ceebee21 didn't tag you x

ceebee21 · 02/10/2019 19:06

@VenusStarr oh ok, so how was that discovered? Never heard of them so just done a quick Google.

Yes, going to wait for my first period which I feel will be the longest wait ever. Fingers crossed it will just be 4 weeks.

I have an interactive thyroid so need to keep on too of that and make sure it is managed correctly xdlx

VenusStarr · 03/10/2019 07:11

I knew I had fibroids as they were picked up before my first pregnancy but my first scan with this one it had grown and was pressing into my uterus.

I'm waiting for my af, first time it was 2 days later than normal. Hope you're not waiting too long.

Do you have medication for your thyroid @ceebee21? X

ceebee21 · 03/10/2019 09:56

@VenusStarr ah ok, so just wait in for AF then trying again? We hopefully won't be too far out time wise then, and fingers crossed for a BFP.

I'm hoping mine comes pretty soon, I have no idea when mine would be...when I was on the implant I barely had one, and when it was removed I ovulated two weeks later and fell pregnant. So can only assume it would have been around 6th August it would have arrived!

I am on medication, but when I had my bloods done just after I found out I was PG, the levels were still way too high..my meds have been increased and I'm going back for bloods to see if it has dropped to the right level.

Fingers crossed xx

VenusStarr · 04/10/2019 04:43

My af has arrived with a vengeance, 27 days after my mc, which is exactly that same as my last mc. Am pleased in a way but it very painful, been awake with cramps for a couple of hours.

I hope you aren't waiting too long for af @ceebee21. Have you been advised to test to make sure it's negative?

I'm glad you're on meds for your thyroid, fingers crossed for you xx

ceebee21 · 04/10/2019 12:32

@VenusStarr oh no... well I guess it is a good thing.. I've never wanted her to arrive so much haha.

I am just hoping it will be around 4 weeks... after my implant was removed I ovulated literally less than 14 days after, so imagine my cycles are pretty good.

Yes, going to take one in a couple of weeks and fingers crossed it will be negative.

Was yours 27 days from the first day of bleeding?

xx

VenusStarr · 04/10/2019 13:15

Yeh, I'm relieved in one way that things seem to be working @ceebee21 although it's painful and unpleasant.

Fingers crossed your cycle regulates quickly. Yes, 27 days from when the bleeding started.

Keep an eye on your cervical mucus, that's the best indicator for me that I'm ovulating and after my first mc my body let me know much more, so had lots of ewcm xx
