Can anyone talk about living in Bodmin please?

Just that really. On a relocation to that area and would like to know anything.
Schools - infants.
Areas to avoid.
Good activities?
Nice walks?

Ohhh Wiltshire is nice and central. All of Cornwall is pretty cut off in comparison.

Its all do able of course, by train or car mainly, but it takes time and costs. I guess it depends on how much time you would want to spend travelling elsewhere.

Echo what Carlywurly said. We’re from nearby, sadly not living at home. Always thought the town centre attractive but there are significant social problems. Lostwithiel is lovely. Peaceful, attractive, reasonably priced housing without the same level of issues.

I know this thread is over a year old but it seems daft to go ahead and create the exact same one! I was wondering, can anyone advise on the best area to live within 15 minutes drive of Cardinham woods? If I ask RightMove it just suggests Bodmin, which from this thread is not to be recommended! I'd be much happier rurally anyway. Recommendations of nicer villages within the vicinity please!
