2 days ago out the blue come down witha sore throat and cold! Anyone else??

Just no warning sore throat Monday night felt iffy Tues and today feel dreadful didnt go to work...not like me. Bunged up headache just yuk!!!

Y'up. Still have it a week or so latter.

I have this and af too. I'm miserable.

I had a very suspicious gakky throat and feeling off yesterday but it seems to have sodded off today (immediately tempts fate!).

And I have barely been with any other people for about a week either!

2days ago felt perfect tonight hot and head is banging and so bunged up... had paracetomol all day.

Have a few hot flishes anyway at night but I feel as if Ive got a fire in me. Take DS to school tom in car in pjs if I have to then back to bed

Yep started last Tuesday evening come home with sore throat which lasted three day then it went to my chest still coughing now eight days later. Half my friends have gone down with it!! very annoying as I managed not to get anything last winter!! Going to book flu jab as I got it last year and did not get any bugs.

I've been feeling queasy all day and just sort of weak.. not sick enough to be off work but spent all day at work wishing I was lying down! Still feeling it now.

yep me too, change in weather maybe? Nose still gushing today but feeling a bit less rotten

Getting worse here. Sweats and no energy. I want to go back to bed.

I blame DS going back to school. He's walking germ warfare - doesn't get it himself just spreads the lurgy.

If it's any consolation at all mine lasted a week. Today I'm stil snuffly and with a bit of a sore throat, but head is much clearer and far less of the stuffed-with-wet-cotton-wool feeling.

Yep.
DS kicked of year 13 with the lurgy.
DD's best friend too, which is developing into ear infections and tonsillitis and a chesty cough in both cases.

DH and DS both down with it. I'm right as rain!

Yes! Started with the toddler, moved onto husband and eldest and then I woke up yesterday snotty with a stiff neck.

Yep. Last Friday I started with a sore throat. Saturday and Sunday had no energy, wasn’t in bed but lots of lying on the sofa and afternoon naps. Throat started to get better Monday onwards, but now horrendous sinus pressure and pain. Voice is croaky too. Grr.

Yes my DD has it at the moment. Came on extremely suddenly.

Yes, I had it last week. Nought to absolutely streaming cold in about an hour and a half, the following day it had decamped to my chest and I coughed so much I thought my head was going to come off.

Started tuesday night with a sore throat, its getting worse and my head is banging. Really struggling to swallow today but no cold symptoms really.

Gosh quite alot of it about then!!!
My nose is streaming and just feel cloudy head although the headache has subsided. Got to go out tomorrow for a few hours then on Sat night from 10pm till 1.30am (DS sport!) Am dreading it!!!

I'm honestly thinking about ways to pee so I don't have to get out of bed

I had an eyelash that didn't ache but that fell out so now I'm one big horizontally MNing snot-fest.
