Anyone else with a new starter who ISN'T loving it?

Everyone's new reception year children all seem to be settling wonderfully. I picked up the child who was in absolute floods of tears.

Oh no! That's really tough. As it happens, my new starter is very happy, but my eldest found it really really difficult when he started school - went from being really confident at nursery to being in tears every morning at school. It was tough, and I felt really bad dropping him off every day, but honestly, after a few weeks of gradually getting more and more used to school, he was totally fine. Just wanted to reassure you!

Mine is ok but she is far too tired to be loving it. She went to bed at 5pm today. She has been such a sod since starting school too
