Off to Centre Parcs for the first time this weekend with my in-laws for a big family birthday.
Any helpful hints and tips about what to take? Towels? Dish wash stuff?

Which type of accommodation are you in? The executive lodges near the plaza provide towels and will change them on a Wednesday if you are staying for a week and provide washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and toilet rolls. DD had a bad stomach for the week and we went though 8 toilet rolls in our bathroom alone! The parc market sell toilet rolls in packs of 2 for about £2 but when there are 8 people staying a week it's gonna get quite expensive. If you are in a lodge far away from the car park, I saw people with little wheel along trolleys to take their luggage to and from the car to avoid the scramble on the first and last days with the car as the train doesn't run on the first and last days - I think the train starts running later on in the evening. Also, book any meals you want to have in advance and evening meals get filled up really quickly. If you want to hire a bike, take your own helmet if you have one as it was a £5 charge for a helmet. Oh and most importantly a large glass of wine is around £8-£9! Pfft!

Thinking about going to Woburn as we don't drive, in the third week of July.
My kids are aged 10 11 and 13. I know they'll love the pool, but how much else is there to do without booking the paid activities?

Also do the activities really get full up or can we decide once we are there what we want to do?

Woburn has the smallest of all the pools and the least pleasant one. We have been to all the CPs.
