Can I save my jeans from wearing out?

In the inner thigh area. My jeans and trousers wear through where my thighs rub together. Jeans in my size that I like are hard to come by and currently aren’t lasting very long. It’s not that easy to just replace them when they wear through. Can anyone help with reinforcing ideas? I must have sandpaper thighs!

Get a thighmaster and then the top of your thighs will not touch!

You could try denim patches or rubbing dry colourless soap in the area where there is friction.

Hi, I run a tailoring shop and this is one of our most common repairs! We charge £15 and you get a reinforced denim patch on the inside of the crotch/thighs. Best to do it before the original denim has holes in, but can be done afterwards if necessary Smile

Thanks MrsSpencer. I’ll head to my dry cleaner/tailor to see if they can save them.
Soola, will take more than some thighmastering to stop my thighs touching!

Try the soap trick and see if it works. Apparently it’s an invisible coating on the jeans that stops the friction.
