Would you eat out of date falafel?

I bought some ready made falafel balls at the weekend, supposed to be for tea tonight. But have just noticed that they are use by (not best before) the 3rd, so 3 days out of date. They are unopened and have been kept refridgerated, would you chance it?

Yes, I mostly ignore dates and just base it on if it looks and smells OK.
