I can tell Summer is nearly over

As my butter is hard!
This Summer the butter has been like custard.
This morning when I buttered my toast I was able to slice through it instead of scooping it.

I noticed this yesterday
Today I felt cold it seems so long ago since I was cold.
I'm absolutely loving it

Yes to feeling cold! I’d rather be cold and put a layer on. If I take too many layers off people start to complain.
I like to feel some weight in my bed covers, but in Summer I end up sweating so have to lose the weight and just have a sheet. I’m looking forward to getting my quilt and fluffy blankets out again.

i'm cold tonight! i have a blanket over my knees and socks plus slippers! truthfully, id rather be cold than too hot as i find it much easier to get warmer than to cool down. Plus i do love it when its time to get my onesies out (i only wear them in the house, i never go out to do anything in them)

I have my heating on permanently at 20degrees and it’s not come on all summer as it’s been over that. I heard it switch on for the first time last night/this morning at 4am.
It’s officially autumn. Just gotta get my jumpers out if the storage bags and I’m good to go. Sigh. I miss summer already .....

I don't like that it's dark getting up for work in the morning (we start early!) and dark walking home from the gym (finish 21:00 mist nights there)
I like the light evenings. I got used to skipping home from the gym in shorts & t shirt. I'm still in them but had a fleece & my big coat on over the top this evening!
