For me it's got to be Matt Baker off the One Show. How about you ladies? Grin

Weymo funnily enough, I do know quite a lot about Chris Packham, including that he has Aspergers. He’s managed to have 2 (that I know of) very long term relationships (and has maintained a very good relationship with his step daughter, despite not being with her mum anymore) so he must be doing something right.

You seem to be implying that no one can find someone with Aspergers sexually attractive. That’s a pretty unpleasant viewpoint.

DarlingNikita · 09/09/2019 09:57

Ah, wide ons Grin I love MN for many things, but I might love it the most for gifting me that phrase.

Weymo, the stuff in that article has been public knowledge for ages. Your attitude is quite unpleasant.

Weymo · 09/09/2019 16:57

@CassianAndor No I’m not implying that. Speaking from experience (my own).

DarlingNikita · 09/09/2019 17:17

If you're speaking from your own experience, why are you citing an article about (not even an interview with!) Packham?

midsomermurderess · 09/09/2019 17:42

I was in the queue for a flight from Bristol to Edinburgh a couple of months ago and Neil Oliver was on the same flight. He is very cute, and small and compact.

CassianAndor · 09/09/2019 17:47

Weymo no, you’re not. You are directly talking about the fact that Chris Packham has Aspergers.

marvellousnightforamooncup · 09/09/2019 17:54

Jay Blades. Even if he does commit the cardinal sin of sometimes painting Ercol black with one turquoise leg, the Ercol not Jay.

I love Jay Blades but I'm not sure I fancy him.

FatherFintanFay · 09/09/2019 17:58

PegasusReturns oh, give over. What do you think FHM's annual 100 Sexiest Women poll was, if not men talking about which women made their cocks quiver?

For me, it's Michael Scott the TV historian. Very softly spoken but also seems quite keen on the mucky bits of Roman history.

marvellousnightforamooncup · 09/09/2019 18:49

Jim Al-Khalili is quite nice.

Weymo · 09/09/2019 20:11

@CassianAndor

Sorry, what’s your question again? What is your issue with people with Asperger?

LoseLooseLucy · 09/09/2019 20:17

Doesn't read like CassianAndor has a problem with people with Aspergers actually 🤔

CassianAndor · 09/09/2019 20:33

Exactly, I have no problem with Aspergers. You, on the other hand, seem to think that because CP has Aspergers, that should automatically cross him off any woman’s list. Read your post yesterday. It couldn’t be more unpleasant.

sodrained · 09/09/2019 20:34

Dom littlewood I'm sorry Blush he really makes me feel excited when he comes on I think he's lovely Blush

Weymo · 09/09/2019 20:54

@CassianAndor I think you’ve just read it wrong. It’s from my own experience as an aspie.

DarlingNikita · 10/09/2019 11:20

Weymo, I don't get it. If you're talking about your own experience, why do you say 'Chris Packham looks like he’d be difficult, ignorant, unimaginative and a clean freak. He refuses to live with his long term girlfriend.'? And why do you post a link to an interview in which his girlfriend talks about him?

Am I missing something? What in your comment or in the interview is about you, as opposed to being about him?

Weymo · 11/09/2019 14:15

@DarlingNikita. Relax, it’s a lighthearted thread about celebrities, no intense speculation required.

DarlingNikita · 11/09/2019 14:20

Weymo

a) I'm not the only one confused by your posts
b) 'light-hearted' thread or not, unsavoury opinions (if indeed we are all understanding your posts rightly) should and are be up for questioning. It's a fairly simple matter to clear up, I should think.

So no, thanks, but I won't 'relax'.

CassianAndor · 11/09/2019 14:29

Weymo well, it was until you posted what you did. I still don't understand the point you were making, if it wasn't 'what d'you want to fancy a man with Aspergers for??', which is how I read it.

I know you say you have Aspergers and maybe that accounts for the tone of your posts, but it was a really unpleasant thing to say. Chris Packham has made a documentary about autism, maybe watch it? There are many parents of children with ASD on MN, must have been heartbreaking to realise that they're DC are not to be considered attractive because of it.
