I’ve just made salad dressing with coconut yoghurt instead of plain...

.....Shall I bluff it out (it tastes OKish- but very sweet) or go out and buy plain yoghurt (45 minutes) and start again.

It’s an ottolenghi one - cucumber, lambs lettuce, coriander and mint. It’s very delicious.

You can probably get away with it as an unconventional Ottolenghi combo, sounds lovely!

Coconut and coriander work well together.
And some salad dressings are sweet - honey mustard for instance.

Do you have any lime juice? That might cut the sweetness and go with the other flavours.

I’ve already chucked extra lemon juice in. I might try a bit of lime. It does taste OK. I think I’ll go for it. I might only dress the salad with a bit and have more if people like it!
