If you l had this opportunity, would you do it?

DH wanted to take our DC out of school at the beginning of term to go on holiday and avoid the hefty costs. As I'm a stickler for the rules I wasn't comfortable with this.

My DIL have now offered to look after our DC for a few days so we can go away (during term time). DC was excited at the prospect of being with his GPs for a few days.

All seems everyone would be happy. However, we would be taking our baby with us so my concern is that my older DC will feel left behind.

He insists he would love to be with GPs so I'm asking would you do it if you had the opportunity?

Seems an ideal solution.

Older child ‘spoilt’ by grandparents and getting individual attention.

Grandparents enjoying quality time with their grandchild.

You and your husband having a holiday with only the baby to care for/worry about.

Thanks Soola. That's a positive way of seeing it.
