How do you dry your washing without a tumble dryer?

There is no space in my kitchen for a tumble dryer, although I would love one as it would make life so much easier, and I don't have a washing line. My back yard is absolutely tiny so can't fit a good sized line there.

I have a heated maiden but it doesn't really get that hot. I don't really like hanging washing inside because they often dry and smell damp and I don't like to leave the windows open all the time (I get cold easily).

How do you dry your washing?

I have used one from Lidl for years now. I put the bedclothes on to extra spin before hanging them straightened out as possible, then parting the end of the pillowcases open to allow them to dry better.
I leave it on overnight, & fold up/put straight on the bed in the morning.
I use disposable hanging Wardrobe dehumidifiers in my coat cupboard as it’s in the same room, & ensure the dog’s water bowl is covered/out of the room. It’s a bit of a fag, but my condensing tumble dryer was not doing the job. Clothes horse in shower room and stick a dehumidifier in there with it, preferably with the vent aimed at the clothes horse. But a dehumidifier next to a clothes horse in any room would probably help!

I’ve got three maidens! Don’t like to use tumble drier except in emergencies, they just seem wasteful

Clothes on a maiden overnight by a dehumidifier. Door closed and all totally dry in the morning .Works great for me.
