I'm writing a quiz for a charity fundraiser in a couple of weeks' time. I love quizzes but last time I wrote one everybody said the questions were too hard! So hit me with some really good questions - don't mind what category (I've already done general knowledge and picture round).

We have had smell the herbs and spices. Anagrams and cryptic rounds are also good as they use different skills to the knowledge rounds. Blank monopoly boards and fill in the residential squares.

And I swear I thought of this one first, and was going to tweet Richard Osman ...actors who have played Churchill

Etc etc

sleepychunky · 03/09/2019 18:53

OP - I used to set a lot of quizzes and we usually had a rule of thumb of 75% - e.g. most people should get around that mark to keep it interesting. Quizzes which are too hard make people bored very very quickly.

Name the two Tube stations which contain all the vowels in their name.

I’ve stopped using that one because you can contrive a third one, and it causes too many arguments.
