Need a biscuit recipe ahead of bake off tonight!

I promised my DC we would make biscuits ahead of biscuit week on the bake off tonight but the last bunch I made were rubbish...care to share your favourite biscuit recipe please?

The biscuits on last weekend's Sunday Brunch looked good - hobnob-ish things with fudge and white chocolate. Recipe should be on the C4 website.

A very simple ginger biscuits recipe: Paul's mum's ginger biscuits - I use butter and add in chunks of crystalized ginger.

Thanks all. We went with @sleepismysuperpower1 recipe and it worked a treat. Will squirrel away the others for future use...thanks for the recommendations.
