Been asked to an Eid party next week - do I take a present?

Family with 2 children aged 7 and 9. Newish neighbours. Very pleased to be asked but not sure of the etiquette and can hardly ask them if I'm meant to bring a present.

Hope I'm not meant to bring food as my cooking is atrocious
