last day of holidays with a 6 yo

what has everyone planned for the last day of school holidays? struggling for ideas....

Haircut, dentist and early night

Working while dmil has the dc! She is going to take them to the park to hide the books they found and read earlier in the summer.

Sorting all the uniform and stuff last night.

Tomorrow is our last day and we'll be going to the cinema. Today we're doing stupid little jobs I haven't been arsed to do in the last 6 weeks, cleaning book bags, naming shoes, checking ds can still write!

After six long weeks me and my friend are going to a spa for the day. We are both lone parents and haven't had down time for months. I still feel guilty about this despite my dcs having been on two holidays, day trips and outings etc. Go to the cinema you can have a rest op.

Going to school this morning to get some cardigans and pe t shirt . Then planning to go to library this afternoon and might treat them to an ice cream or cake or something as a last day treat .

We’ve still got two days, so today we’re going to a local country park to do The Gruffalo trail. Tomorrow we’re going to go swimming in the morning and then they’re having their hair cut in the afternoon.

Birthday party and a play date. DD only just got up (5yo) so tomorrow's early start will be fun

Last day today and we will have a long dog walk, I'll iron and get uniforms, bags ready while the school play outside with their friends. Planning on a huge bucket of kfc as a treat. Plenty sad faces in this house including mine so hopefully that will cheer us up. Then big bubble baths for everyone ready for an early night.

We have 3 days left. Today we are going to the library in the morning & picking blackberries on the way home (ds2 is desperate to do this). This afternoon will pop to Tesco for any last uniform bits & to print off some photos for DS3's homework.

Tomorrow I'm thinking a walk/play in a new-to-us park, which is on my list of things to do! Also 11+ practise paper for DS1 & swimming lessons for DS2 & DS3.

Not sure about Wednesday! Will see what weather is like & what Dses want to do!

DC are playing, I am drinking coffee in the sunshine.
We are booked into an inflatables place later so I shall be drinking more coffee there! I am resisting the urge to hassle them to go to the park or something and just let them play.
