Hello everyone,

I am 20 weeks pregnant and moving to st albans next week. I have heard mixed reviews regarding Watford, Lister and Luton and Dunstable. Where is the best place in peoples opinions?

Thank you in advance

@Newgirls so you think Watford would be the easiest to get to from st albans?!

You have more options to get to wayford eg train buses etc. DEf have appointments at St Albans.

Try both for journey and see what you feel is right. Lister is smarter but bit further to drive.

@LouBriggs sadly not, I started off there but ended up in an emergency c-section. But all the staff there were brilliant, the birthing centre was quiet and if all had gone to plan I would have been able to use the pool as there was nobody else there.

I can't fault the midwives, consultants, surgeons etc at all, they were all wonderful. The only issue for me was the after-care on the ward but had I not had a c-section, I wouldn't have been there at all so it's hard to comment outside of that really!
