Just not Meetup. It's well on its way out in my area, big problems with no shows/last minute cancellations, very poorly attended events, one local group has hosts who don't turn up to their own events for some bizarre reason.
I've Googled and there seem to be quite a few alternatives around but the 'dating app for friends' type things I randomly downloaded quickly end up trying to match me with people 50+ miles away so they're not very popular. Has anybody had any luck using anything else?
