Can someone please help - my FB has been hacked!

I’ve lost my whole FB account after it sent out messages to everyone in my account! It was my DH that said WTF is this? Then I noticed then I had to set up a new account. Messenger if fucked also.

Please - any tips?

Report it, you may have to provide ID. Change anything with the same password. Don't set up a new account, it's a breach of TOS.

Oh god I’m in tears here. I’ve already set up a new account. I’m in my 60s and hopeless with things. I seem to have 2 accounts now and need to sort this out. None of the links are working as it won’t let me “send”. I really don’t know what to do next

Has the hacker changed the email on your account?

You can check your email for this as Facebook will have sent a notification saying the email has been changed.

Delete the new account you set up as that is only going to confuse you.

When you’ve done that, click on this link and click on the second one down

When you click on the second option you should have this screen.

If at any stage you can’t press send it’s because you have not answered properly or filled in everything.

Hi you’ve been really helpful. I’ve reported to Facebook twice and heard nothing back. I did the security check. Now I have my original Facebook on my iPad and only the new one I opened on my iPhone! Can I delete the new one from my iPhone and will it let me log into my old account or have I lost it completely.
