Just wondering what to do. I’m a newly qualified yoga teacher. My first class of 15 places is full (only a few have paid in advance, most will pay at the time). I have several people who’ve put their names on the waiting list. A woman has emailed tonight wanting to book the six weeks and wondering if she will get a place on the first one. another person has booked and paid for the following 5 but also wants the first. I can’t fit more than 15 in the room that I’ve booked but, there is a big hall that is available. It won’t be at all intimate in there but of course there would be space for as many as i liked. But, can I realistically look after more than 15 total newbies on my very first beginners class...? I don’t want to turn people away but I do want to give a really good class experience.
Plus, surely some people maybe don’t turn up and lots of people will come to the first one, it not be what they’re looking for and they won’t come back again? gah! I’m sure there will be a pattern to attendance and typical retention rates, but I don’t have any idea what they are. Guidance would be appreciated.
