Physio heat treatment left a burn on DS back...is thos normal?

So had treatment Wedn last night one area has come up with a burn and oozing!!!! Rang waiting for a call back

Not normal no! The therapist should have been checking with DS about the sensation...and asking if it was comfortable etc. Also they should know how hot a pack is!

Seek medical help - so GP or minor injuries unit. If it’s burned and oozing he may need a specialist dressing.

Physio called back said the shock wave treatment plus ultra violet treatment CAN on some occasions cause this and to use abit of sudacream on the area

Stopped weeping and scabbed abit. Looks like a graze now...Im still abit concerned
