Seeking recommendations for a play at London theatre

Hello, I am going to plan a long weekend in London for DH & I (both early 50's) in the new year and would like to pre-book theatre tickets - our preference is to see a play rather than a musical. This is a treat for us and not something we do very often so I'd be really pleased to hear your recommendations on what we might enjoy.

The Play That Goes Wrong/Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Very funny

Almost anything at the old Vic or the National will be good. It’s difficult to recommend anything without knowing exactly when you’re coming as quite often the runs at these theatres are fairly short. In the next few months, I have tickets booked for Fairview, Endgame and Measure for Measure (Barbican). It’s also worth looking at what is on at the bridge theatre, Park Theatre and the Royal Court.

A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Bridge Theatre is brilliant, according to my DP and other friends. Don't know how long it's on, though.

I know you said not musicals, but Book of Mormon is truly the most magnificent and hilarious 2 hours of your entire life.
