Can somebody please tell me which Fitbit to buy DH?

There are so many and I don’t understand the difference between them all! Which one is best? Have you been impressed/disappointed by one? Tia

I have the Versa, which is the bigger, more watch shaped one, similar looking to the Apple Watch.

I like mine, and it’s definitely made me move more.

It’s waterproof too, I wear mine in the shower, also kept it on for 10 days of holiday, most of the day spent in the pool and it was fine.

What would he use it for?

General step count/ calorie burn, or us he also interested in using it to track his exercise eg running.

I like the Charge 3.

It has all the info I need and it's waterproof (to am extent). I did like the Charge 2 but kept getting it wet.

It's quite light and neat, which is good as I have a slimish wrist.

I have a Samsung watch as well, which I love but it's heavy and chunky: I'm afraid of bashing it so keep it for when I'm on client's sites as it looks quite smart. That's a personal thing as I see loads of people at work (corporate world) wearing Fitbits.

If he wants it for running/cycling, then the Ionic is a good one (although I would probably prefer a Garmin watch for that). Otherwise the Versa looks nice.

Bit of both really, he is keen to do more exercise but not likely to be a real fanatic at any point, just tracking would probably help him to want to walk more and maybe start running again... also swims with DS so would be good if it was properly waterproof Smile

I had got dh the blaze which he liked but has been discontinued. As it started to fail he had it replaced by Fitbit for an iconic, free of charge. He really likes it.

Ds has the charge 3.

I have the Charge 2, DH just got the Charge 3 and is happy with it. At the end of the day, if yours wants a smart watch, get the smart watch. If he wants a fitness tracker and isn't fussed about full smart watch functionality, save the money and get the Charge 3. :-)

Husband has the Iconic and loves it, can't remember if waterproof or not. There is a comparison tool on the Fitbit website.

I used fitbits since they first came out and recently switched to apple watch and use their stuff and finding it different but good.

Thanks everyone - I think it’s got to be the charge 3 or the Versa... @beccarocksbaby what are the pros/cons of the Apple Watch instead?

I have a Charge 3 and wouldn’t recommend, I find it a bit glitchy. I posted something about it on Fitbit’s forum recently and it appears that a number of people on there were having similar problems and were being sent replacement watches by Fitbit. I think I’ll get in touch with them as I find it very frustrating to use as it crashes, the screen freezes, it frequently fails to count steps and the screen scroll is jumpy .
On Amazon it has 43% 5 reviews and 34% 1.
I had a Charge 2 before this and it worked well but battery life was poor after two years of use.
