22 bites from my sun lounger. I can't salvage it can I?

3 summers ago I treated myself to an expensive (in my view, not to most people I suspect) sun lounger. Life divorce got in the way and it's been in the garage unused since. Yesterday I decided to make the most of the glorious bank holiday with no plans and sat on it for about 1/2 an hour. I'd forgotten how comfy it was!
A day on and I now have 22 bites that I can see/count. Mostly on my back, some on my sides, arms, bum Blush and legs. I am itchy as hell.

There's nothing I can do to treat it is there? The covers are not removable so I can't even put them through the wash. Any ideas or do I have to count my losses and take it to the dump? Such a waste Sad

Insect repellent for you

Try some sort of flea powder and vacuum?

Bunnybigears · 27/08/2019 23:27

Indorex spray for the chair, gin for you (apparently it makes your blood taste icky)

NannaNoodleman · 27/08/2019 23:32

Yes, as PP said, indorex... and a can of raid, a hoover and a gin. You'll be good to go!

Indorex...

You are telling me to drink gin to stop the bitey bugs? I love you lot.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but gin is my favourite tipple and I still get bitten. They always itch too. Drink the gin anyway, it’s good for relaxation purposes.

Sorry to add another question (not about gin, I'm always down for the gin!), to the knowledgable sounding people on this thread - the dogs have succumbed to the flea invasion Angry, nothing has worked.

Indorex for the house sounds like the thing... but what do I put on the actual hounds? Please??!

Dogs need a decent flea treatment, ask the vet, the over the counter stuff is crap.

Isolate sun lounger in the garage, spray to fuck with Indorex or RIP Fleas, spray garage liberally. Close doors, leave for a couple of hours, spray again.
