Vancouver and Edmonton 2 weeks too long? Itinerary help!

I’ll start by saying I have been to Edmonton before many years ago. Its a family wedding. I have never been to Vancouver and will be travelling alone.

I dont know what to do really as Ive always wanted to go to Seattle (Frasier and ex grunge fan) and I know that splitting the flights is expensive. I really only need to be in Edmonton for four days leading up to the wedding. Any advice on where to stay things to do wpuld be appreciated.

Thanks

It's totally doable if you can arrange your flights to go into Vancouver and out of Edmonton (or other way round). I did a trip a while back to Vancouver and the Rockies and managed to get flights arriving into Vancouver then leaving from Calgary 2 weeks later, and bought a separate one way internal flight to go Vancouver to Calgary (I think it was with WestJet) part way through. It worked totally fine and didn't feel rushed. I think if we'd been flying in and out of the same place it might have done, though probably still just about manageable if you really want to go. I loved Vancouver - great city!

I need to start doing some research.
