please help me identify this film.
I've googled but nothing has come up as the film I remember.
I think it's fairly recent (within last 10 years)
I a girl from a rich family grows up with a boy from a poor family, they become boy friend and girl friend in thier teens, then she is is moved to a boarding school or college.
the boy writes all the time(I think) but the parents hide the letters. they may have some how, stopped letters going to him too.
now I think this is from the same film but I'm not sure, He builds their dream house over years, all in carved wood in the hope she may came back one day.
When they are older they bump into each other again.
The mum tries to persuade her to not pick up the friendship again.
later turns out the mum left behind an old flame for the same sort of family approval.
I just can't remember who was in it and what it was called, not even sure it was a good watch 
but I'd like to watch it again.
