I work part time and have been offered a full time promotion. I have two primary school age children who go to after school twice a week. We live far away from family and do not have geographically close informal support. After school say they have no additional capacity. I have met a childminder who told me she had lots of space... until I called her today to take her up on it and she was all “well... maybe for just one child..” wtf 😂 I have texted two or three more who have not gotten back to me, I assume as they have no vacancies.
How else do I identify child care? Help!
