What’s everyone doing with the family over bank holiday?

Presuming you mean "going out as a family" rather than door slamming and arguing Grin, we're going to the Peak District Highland Games on Monday.

SayOohLaLa · 23/08/2019 14:03

Except I'm not because it's Sunday not BH Monday when the games are on....

MoobaaMoobaa · 23/08/2019 14:06

working

Dandelionplease · 23/08/2019 14:28

It's not a BH in Scotland but I'm away anyway Grin

CassianAndor · 23/08/2019 14:33

we will zip to the seaside on Sunday as it's going to be baking In London so we need to escape.

Otherwise pottering around at home and getting the house ready for visitors next week.

I never go away for the August bank holiday, the idea of being stuck in traffic for hours on end just doesn't bear thinking about.

indisposed38 · 23/08/2019 14:50

Been camping in dales. Now chilling at home.

StumpyinSomerset · 23/08/2019 14:52

Nothing as I'm working all 3 days

poolblack · 23/08/2019 15:01

My kids are going to school Grin I am going to work, DH doesn't work so he will be home alone as usual.

Dandelionplease · 23/08/2019 16:52

I forgot it’s not bank holiday in Scotland

Nothing. The 'family' are a unit of four and I am not one of them. I shall be working right near the carnival so will have to allow for buses on diversion and get off a few earlier stops!!!

SpeedyShutter · 23/08/2019 16:57

We're going to see the moon!

isseywithcats · 23/08/2019 17:32

Mummyilovejokes1 · 23/08/2019 19:45

Going to Greece Grin

happypotamus · 23/08/2019 20:02

Tomorrow we are driving back from our holiday in Wales - hours in a packed car (no idea how we will fit everything in) in the heat with miserable children), then washing 4 people's clothes for a week, no plans for Sunday and working 13 hours on Monday

NoSauce · 23/08/2019 20:07

BBQ, friends round, wine.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 23/08/2019 20:18

Working sadly Saturday and Sunday.

Monday we will go out for an evening meal and have a belated celebration for ds1's GCSE's.

IggyAce · 23/08/2019 20:34

Off to York on Monday for the soapbox challenge.

Babdoc · 23/08/2019 20:38

As a PP said, it’s not a BH up here in Scotland. But I’m going to a couple of shows at the Edinburgh Fringe with DD and her DP, and taking them for dinner afterwards, to celebrate both their birthdays (which are ten days apart this month).

Jowak1 · 23/08/2019 20:41

Going on our first camping 🏕 trip to Abersoch 😊

Al2O3 · 23/08/2019 20:42

Some medical experiments.

mommybear1 · 23/08/2019 20:44

PILs Saturday followed by DH at "Rugby" aka getting pissed and coming home late 🙄 me with toddler DS keeping him entertained, friends round Sunday for bbq and wine (wine for me only as DH has had his fun 😉). Monday walks, parks, swings - not in that order - for DS.

TeamUnicorn · 23/08/2019 20:49

School uniform shopping. - Saturday it is the logo'd stuff, Sunday we need to go to Tesco to get trousers (the sainsbury's ones I ordered were miles too long). Paddling pool in the garden around that. Monday shoe shopping.

Monday we will tie it in with a trip to the beach as well.

sweetkitty · 23/08/2019 20:51

Working as we don’t get it on Scotland. DC are in school but DHs work follows English holidays so he’s off Angry

funkylittleboatrace · 23/08/2019 21:34

Off to carnival 💃🏼🍹
