Has anyone ever purchased from Vestiaire Collective?

Not sure if I've posed in the right place but hopefully someone who knows this shop will see this and can let me know!

I've been looking for a watch that was discontinued years ago for DSis and this site has them. It says that things people buy are sent to an authentication centre before being sent on to the purchaser. As it's an expensive watch, I wouldn't want to buy from an untrustworthy site. I've suggested she choose something she can get from a reputable shop but it's this watch she specifically wants.

I just wanted to ask if anyone here has bought from this site and felt that it was reputable and were happy with what they'd bought?

I sell on there and the site is 100% trustworthy.

It's a very trustworthy site. They require the seller to send items to them so that it can be authenticated and item condition is checked, only then do listings get approval.

Thank you everyone who's replied. since I posted this a couple of hours ago I saw there were some pretty awful reviews on trust pilot so I'm wondering what to think

The reviews would concern me too much, tbh.

I glanced through them and immediately thought I'd be loath to fork out for something expensive.

It’s a trustworthy site but that doesn’t mean there won’t be a problem. I paid for a pair of Marc Jacobs shoes I’ve been hunting down for years. I waited, and waited. They couldn’t get the seller to respond and asked I gave them time. After contacting the seller three times and approx two months later, they apologised and refunded my money.

I've bought from there & it was fine but I was buying something that I had in a different colour so was confident I could spot a fake. i think they have had some problems with fakes in the past.
