Can you ever hear your dc stomach gurgle?

Tucking DS in bed last night and his stomach was gurgling. No other complaints but I’m wondering if something he’s eating isn’t agreeing with.

Is it normal to hear rumbling noises without hunger? Mine’s always very quiet.

Apparently a rumbly tummy doesn't actually represent hunger. Its just digestion.

My stomach rumbles when I’ve eaten or drunk in the past few hours - the noises are digestion. I’ve never heard anyone’s stomach rumble when they’re hungry, I thought that was a myth? Unless he’s bloated or gassy or in pain, I think it’s absolutely normal.

My stomach can be heard - I had people comment about it saying things like "for gods sake eat something" even when it's just digestion and it definitely could be heard if I'd not eaten for hours and was hungry, like when in college and back to back lectures and no food or drink.

I've ivs though which might be why.

Thank you, I’ll look out for any other symptoms but it sounds normal then.
