Central London Hotel for family of 5

Posting here for traffic :)

We're thinking of taking the kids to London for a few nights between Christmas and New year to see some sights and all the lights and Christmassy things. Can anyone reccomend a hotel that is central ish and will allow two adults and three kids (age between 3 and 10) in one room. Bonus points if it's close to a tube station. Even bigger bonus points if the hotel is accessible as youngest DC is in a wheelchair. Don't need an accessible room yet as such but don't want to be lugging his wheelchair up flights of stairs.

I feel somewhere like a Premier Inn would be ideal (we don't need fancy!) but they only take four people to a room :/

Thanks so much for any ideas!

Have you specifically asked Premier Inn if they will allow five people? I’ve messaged them on Facebook (so I’ve got it in writing) and been told we can have four people + baby in a cot. I was hoping they’d continue to allow it once baby grows up!

No just from looking on the website it only allows 2 adults and 2 children. We've stayed in a Premier Inn before when littlest still fit in a cot and they were fine with that (I emailed the hotel to get it in writing as well before we stayed!) but he doesn't fit in a cot any more.

I stayed at Earls Court PI and it was wheelchair friendly. Ground floor room, very big. 1 double and 2 singles and there would be room for a bed for the little one. 10 mins walk ftom tube station.

We always stay in St Pancras Youth Hostel.

We get a family room (up to 6 people), en suite and breakfast! Opposite St Pancras/Kings Cross tube station. Wheelchair accessible with lifts. Staff always lovely and very helpful and a fraction of the price of some of the swanky London hotels! Nice bar downstairs too Smile
