Dd loves Victorian history and history about London. She wants to go somewhere that teaches historical facts about London from Victorian times or Middle Ages..she loves Jack the Ripper stories, sweeny Todd, Gory Victorian and Middle Ages history.

We’ve done London dungeon, Tower of London..are there any other places in London that teach you this kind of stuff but is 12 year old child friendly?

Ooo. The Clink! Prison museum, tiny but great.
The Old Operating Theatre do some gory medical talks.

I was going to recommend the clink too.

There are lots of guided and self guided walks which focus on Victorian London too.

not gory, but the Foundling Museum is fascinating and includes loads about the fate of Victorian orphans. I'd have loved it at that age as very relatable.

Check out Open House London on 21st to 22nd September. Lots of weird and wonderful places that aren't usually open to the public. Not exacy history but the Grant museum is fascinating with stuffed animals and specimens! Check opening times carefully. Combine with the petrie museum on same day, there's a preserved mummy in a large pot. : ) You have an amazing daughter encourage her as much as possible!

The Royal London Hospital Museum in Whitechapel has lots of interesting stuff and there is lots of Ripper history nearby.
