If so, what can I do about it?!
How do you know if it’s a wart or just a little spot of dry skin?!

I had warts and they were small and painful. You dont have to do anything about them, you'll become immune so you'll only be Forever Alone for about 6 months. Grin

You're doomed Cake! No advice sorry, but didn't want you to be all alone ...
Don't warts usually grow on the upper side of your hands? I've never had one.

It’s not painful at all. It feels like a spot with a slightly small amount of rough skin underneath.
It just looks like a verruca dd had - I thought the equivalent of one of those on your hand was a wart - maybe I have a finger verruca?
Mrs it’s definitely on my fingertip but thanks for the solidarity! High five 🖐
On second thoughts... you might not want to catch my wart Sad

Dont pick your nose

MrsIronfoundersson · 19/08/2019 01:17

Let's just wave from a distance instead!Grin

CakeNinja · 19/08/2019 07:57

How do I get rid of it? It’s contagious surely? Shock

Stressedout10 · 19/08/2019 08:05

You burn them off with liquid nitrogen (freezer burn) you can buy a kit at most chemists for around £20 or if you have a good dr they'll do it for free but usually make you try other less effective treatments 1st

Stressedout10 · 19/08/2019 08:07

Oh and it's the same treatment for both warts and vertices (the freezing bit) so it'll work whichever it is

ArgusFilchsCat · 19/08/2019 08:20

Wartie from the chemist. DD will join you being Wartie McWartand as I treated her yesterday Grin

CakeNinja · 19/08/2019 08:36

Ahh @Argus, it’s like a little club (de)forming now 🥰

No, I've had one on the pad of my thumb for about 15 years. Absolutely nothing will shift it so I just file it down.

The old school remedy is dandelion sap.
