Feel silly asking but I’ve been looking online and can’t work this out. I passed a chestnut tree that was dropping loads of conkers today. Brought some home but on opening a couple, it’s clear they’re not ready.
Will the unopened ones eventually ripen if I keep them somewhere dry? Or are they a lost cause if they drop too early?
