Any recommendations on box sets or films, I sometimes feel a little overwhelmed when flicking through.

Thank you

What ages? My dd is 15 and she loved watching Jane the Virgin with me. Gilmore girls and stranger things are good too

BeyondMyWits · 18/08/2019 16:54

my girls (17/18) love Grey's Anatomy, Bones, The Rookie - we have all 3 boxsets on the go at the moment... probably for mid teens upwards though - we first watched Grey's when youngest was 14.

Sneaky Pete on Amazon. Start from season 1, you need to know why he’s sneaky. Some violence, swearing, but fast moving family drama crossed with heist movie.

My 14yo dd and I have worked our way through Friends, Big Bang Theory and Designated Survivor recently. She loved all of them.

She also loves Friday Night Dinner (not really my cup of tea) and Pride & Prejudice, which I love!

Stranger things and the hunger games were a hit with my ds13. Also pitch perfect made him laugh, good for teens.

MrsSpenserGregson · 18/08/2019 17:04

Friday Night Dinner
Plebs
Gilmore Girls (persevere with it, it does get better after the first couple of episodes)
The Inbetweeners
Mrs Maisel
Pitch Perfect 1 / 2 / 3

MarigoldGlove · 18/08/2019 17:05

Glee

Dirk Gently holistic detective agency

Good omens on Amazon - Dd loves it

nancy75 · 18/08/2019 17:09

Shaun of the dead & hot fuzz if you don’t mind swearing

Summersunshine2 · 18/08/2019 17:11

Definitely Stranger Things. 3 seasons worth.
Also channel 4 catch up we are enjoying Misfits.
I couldn't watch inbetweeners with my teenager - too embarrassing.

StayInYourLaneBoy · 18/08/2019 17:11

Schitt's Creek
Gilmore Girls

BigMamaFratelli · 18/08/2019 17:11

I thought trinkets was very good on netflix

SadieContrary · 18/08/2019 17:28

I'm overseas so my Netflix offerings might be slightly different but we love Queer Eye in this house. All about helping the underdog but it's so camp and good fun

MotherofMigraines · 18/08/2019 17:43

Queer eye, Gilmore girls, gavin & Stacey, friends, stranger things, Brooklyn 99, Anne with an e - all been hits here

KnittingSister · 18/08/2019 17:45

House
Designated survivor

MarinaMarinara · 18/08/2019 17:49

I’ve really enjoyed Good Omens and Umbrella Academy recently and would think both would work for teens

FuzzyPenguin · 18/08/2019 17:52

Jane the virgin
Its so over the top it’s brilliant and lots of plot twists

KnittingSister · 18/08/2019 22:13

Stranger things, great for all ages. (Netflix). Good Omens on prime, great fun.

Rachelover40 · 18/08/2019 22:21

The Crown, seasons 1 & 2. The third one will be out before the end of the year. We were all glued to it!

brookelopez · 18/08/2019 22:23

The Order and Sabrina are ones I've enjoyed on Netflix recently. I think they'd be suitable for teen girls.

bionicnemonic · 18/08/2019 22:23

Brooklyn 99
