Best most luxurious camping in Europe pls!

I’m looking to book for next summer

Single mum, two children 9 and 7.

Never been camping before. I’m looking for pre erected tent or static. With private facilities (shower and toilet).

Wonderful facilities, close to beach, sunny and hot (so southern France / Spain etc).

I’m willing to throw money at it - so not worried about budget.

Any recommendations pls?

Google 'La Carabasse', near Vias in the South of France.
Amazing site, lovely pool and close to the beach. Only 10 mins from Beziers airport.
Great mobile homes with full kitchens and air con.
We went a few years ago, and I'm hoping to go again next year. Best holiday ever and our kids loved it.
Sorry don't know how to add a link!

Thank you!

Would you describe as quite luxurious? I’m looking for 5 star camping experience!

It's hard to say really. No camping experience is going to be like a 5 star hotel, you still have to make your own beds etc. Most French campsites are much nicer than UK ones.

I've been to La Carabsse too. It was lovely at the time. A good few years ago now though.

If you book direct with the campsites (rather than eg Eurocamp) some will have really lovely 'lodges' as part of their accommodation range and might even go as far as maid service.

Make sure the campsite is in walking distance of town with lots of restaurants so you don't have to cook!

We tend to be further north so can't really recommend but Salou is a well known 'camping' town near Girona or Argeles Sur Mer near Perpignan.

Resort Sanguli in Salou looked good. I drove past and it looked very appealing so I checked out the website for us as a potential.

Ive done a nice safari tent with both featherdown farms and with eurocamp. I believe you can get These in france and spain

I’m off to research

Thank you!

Was fleetingly worried that I’d be scorned for wanting 5 star luxury, but as a single parents - my approach has always been to make my life as easy as possible and then I’m a better more patient mum!

Thanks again
