Is my neighbour the head of some weird teenage cult?

They always seem to have a dozen to two dozen teenagers(boys and girls) in their home at the weekend. Practically all of them are wearing shorts, the thick good quality ones, in red, white or blue. I've never seen teenage boys wearing shorts other than on holiday let alone a big group of them. It all looks rather Enid Blyton.

Are shorts popular now? Is it some sort of cult? What's going on? And yes, I'm bored.

Shorts are back, apparently. Preferably mid-thigh, brightly coloured, and worn with white socks pulled up. All the teenage boys around here have been wearing this look lately.

Can't explain why so many would gather at the same house on a regular basis though

Thank you. So it's the In thing then. The cult thing is still a possibility I feel, though judging by the state they're in when they leave I suspect that it's more of a drinking/party den than anything.

I only just discovered this fashion today. It makes me feel very old (I'm 30!) also teenagers seem to be embracing the 90s fashion which is odd because it wasn't very good in the 90s. Does your neighbour at least have teenagers??

Haha....my neighbour about 3 doors away had this at the beginning of the holidays, all looked about 16 ish, boys and girls playing Katie Perry and 1Direction and the were all sat in a circle drinking Frootshoots...my daughter was most concerned and though it was a cult as according to her they should have been listening to Rap music and drinking beer!

Is it normal for teenagers to hang around the drug dealer's home all evening/night? It's always the same group.
