I'm pondering a move and just curious to know which of the Home Counties you favour? If you have an opinion of course.

I miss Surrey, I really liked Woking but DH vetoed a move there so we ended up in my homeland north of the border Smile

I used to also live on the Herts border and that’s lovely too, i really liked Harpenden, and the Garden Cities are nice too.

You can't beat Kent!

I like Surrey.

Sussex is great, but pretty sure neither count as a Home County.

There are nice bits in all the Home Counties. I've worked, work and have done sporting events in most of them. The larger towns in them tend to be much of a muchness.

West and East Sussex generally seem to be counted as Home Counties now.

@Sandsnake East Sussex and West Sussex are Home Counties.

I grew up in Surrey & Hertfordshire and don't like either! I'd probably vote Kent as you can go to the beach Smile

@AwesomePossums I think it's because it's regarded as boring and to not have its own identity.
