Looks a bit like a goose of some sort but no idea really. I only have a photo. I have seen it in rl. DD sent it and asked if I knew what it was. I assume she has seen it on Peckham Rye at the pond.

Egyptian goose. Protected species. There are flocks of these as escapees. Very friendly and approachable . Therefore vulnerable.

Juvenile goose, and I'd go for a Canada Goose. There are a lot of them at Blackheath, where this photo was taken.
