Anyone had a non stressful house move.?

FTB buying ours, mortgage approved and his dad is a local estate agent who presumably knows what he’s doing. One we are moving into is empty and in the same town as us.

Just had mortgage approved.

It just seems that it’s all quite smooth so far.

All I read on here is horror stories...can it go comparatively stress free,?

Yes, the tiniest hiccup free chain ever and DH workplace paid for all our moving expenses and legal fees. So we had packers and didn’t need to do very much at all.

Yes - ours was great - from a rented flat to our current house- we had very little to put in it and hired a van and moved ourselves in a day. The previous owner even left us a card and flowers and two completely strange men helped us with getting our washing machine into the house (they were walking by on their way to the pub and saw we were struggling). We haven’t moved again.....

I have moved four time and each one has been a nightmare
