I saw a link on fb to join a webinar by Midlife Mastery. It lasted 45 mins and could have been written for me....every single issue I’m suffering with; rapid weight gain, no energy, brain fog, anxiety....every single thing I’m going through. This webinar said if I follow the 5 steps, I can work with my hormones. Lose weight, increase energy and libido, feel sharper and happier. Oh and the 5th step is ‘Trust The Mentor” which of course comes at a price. $197 to be precise, which will give me access to the full programme, diet and exercise plans....I know it’s probably not a good idea. But I’m desperate, fatter than ever and so unhappy. Can anyone help me by either giving me their positive experiences with this programme, or by pointing me in the direction of where I could access some information that can help me, but without spending such an amount. Please don’t be unkind, I’m feeling crap and desperate 😕

Have you checked the company on TrustPilot?

Go to the GP, ask for HRT and a gym referral.

I hear you @twonoisyboys
The brain fog is making me feel like I'm going mad.
You know that this is fake and I completely understand the if only I could just do this do I can go back to myself again.
If you have access to healthcare (don't know where you're based) do try and get some HRT.

Go to your doctor, ask about hrt, educate yourself first on menopause matters. Exercise.....as much as you can, cut all shite out of your diet. Worked for me

TwoNoisyBoys · 14/08/2019 22:16

Thank you...I know it probably would have been rubbish and a waste of money but I’m just feeling so low I guess I’m desperate! I needed to hear it from others! I’ll start researching ways to make me feel more human. Ffs l, yes, I’m in the uk. Looks like a doctor’s appointment is my first call.

Why not hop over to the low carb bootcamp threads on here! M ade me lose worry and I feel soooooo much better

pottedshrimps · 15/08/2019 12:05

Honestly, cutting the carbs will help enormously. You have more energy, feel sharper and the weight comes off. Combine this with a healthy diet, decent quality mineral and vitamin supplementation, high dose vitamin D and some meditation and you'll feel loads better.

DinaCaliente · 15/08/2019 12:09

B12 injections have made me feel human again. I get them done privately.

EvaHarknessRose · 15/08/2019 12:15

HRT regular exercise less alcohol and no sugar sorted it for me. (My body has finally made me do all the things I should do anyway 😁).

TwoNoisyBoys · 16/08/2019 09:19

Thank you everyone....I have a drs appointment next week and I’m going to start researching this properly re food and exercise. Just feel so horrible and SO depressed at the thought of this being my permanent state now 😩😩
